Must all people of art (of whatever manner) be obnoxious?
    Today I met a local interior designer who has been in Malaysia's interior developments for a couple of decades or so. Although some of his work was interesting, I was hardly impressed by the "achievements" that he tried to show off to the class (and lecturers).
       He kept praising himself (and his firm) on "how great the quality of work" he has done and contributed. Fuck off, it wasn't that great.
            He also criticized local architects (or rather "ar-chee-tects" as he would like to call them, yes chee, like lychee, cibai, etc). Hey, I'm not big on Hijjaz's designs either but give em a break, they're trying.
             I guess what I'm getting at is, does art really need assholes like him? A controversial artist (who is uglier than sin) who praises himself on work that is only mildly stimulating? I think not.

Be humble.
